Earls Cove

Earls Cove, which is located at the north end of the Sechelt Peninsula, is home to the ferry terminal that sails to the upper Sunshine Coast (Powell River and Lund). The ferry trip across the Jervis Inlet to Saltery Bay is a scenic 50-minute trip up Agamemnon Channel, around the Nelson Island and into Jervis Inlet.

The ferry provides a spectacular view of the steep and rugged mountain slopes of the Coast Mountain range and the magnificent Sunshine Coast fjord country— little changed since Captain George Vancouver sailed Jervis Inlet and Agamemnon Channel in June 1792.

Getting to Earls Cove

If you are coming from the Lower Mainland, the Sunshine Coast is accessible by floatplane or by a 40-minute ferry ride from West Vancouver to the Langdale Ferry Terminal. Highway 101 links Langdale with Earls Cove—there is 84km (about a 40-minute drive) between the two ferry terminals.

If you're coming from Powell River, take the ferry from Saltery Bay to Earls Cove.
